Young Riders Strut Their Stuff

Last Saturday Oldfields equestrian center hosted a “mock” horse show for our young riders ages 6 to 12 to prepare them for upcoming horse shows. Eight young riders dressed up in their horse show attire and put on a good show for all who came out to watch. Thanks for cheering on our young riders!

“Congrats to Ivy and Maggie on their “cross country” ride on Noble and Ginger last week – just about ready for these young riders to go fox hunting! And Kudos to Allison Burch for her successful participation in the two-day Hunter/Jumper clinic conducted by the coaches of the Auburn equestrian team at the university! Way to go , girls!”

The Low Country Hunt

Oldfield members love to fox hunt! (Don’t worry, the fox is not harmed and lives to elude the hounds another day!) Pictured are Jude Dontje and members Danny Pincus, JesseRuth Parrish and Allison Burch outside the main house at Ravenwood, a private Plantation just outside of Walterboro, SC where we hunted with the Low Country Hunt recently.
